Hero Arts Velveteen stamping

Hi everyone, I made this card using Velveteen stamping technique again. I can't stop because it's jsut too pretty.

This time I stamp the vine background with Papertrey Ink Fresh snow ink on white card stock.
I stamp the flowers and leaves from Hero Arts Sweet threads stamp set.  Sentiment and butterflies from Hooray set using Hero Arts Shadow inks: Soft Yellow, Pool mid-tone , Cup O' Joe mid-tone and Wet Cement mid-tone.

It is so pretty in person and I hope I can catch the vine background through all the stamped images. BTW, isn't the polka dot butterfly cute? It goes so well with the Pool shadow ink. Love it.

Close up of the butterflies. CUTE~

First one is for a sweet little girl. Guess what's her favorite color!! I love the new mid-tone Hero Arts Shadow inks. I stamp the hearts with Bubble Gum shadow ink and Barn Door distress ink. Also stamp butterflies ans sentiment with Wet Cement shadow ink. (One of my favorite.) The color is very very beautiful.

This one I stamp starts Field Greens, Green Hills and Wet Cement. (Of course.) Hope you can see the background peeking through the stamped starts. Make It Monday #55:

Quick post today. I made two cards for . This is a very genius and creative way to stretch your supplies and imagination. Dawn McVey made a great tutorial video Here she has 3 cards made using this technique or you can find out the detail on Nichole's blog.

Here is my card. I really want to use the new Pretty Peonies stamp set. So so so pretty. I know I will make more cards with this set. I used same design but different color on two cards.

I didn't not choose the frame set that Dawn used in her video but the circle ones she showed on her blog. This technique really makes a beautiful background.

I can't stop just making one card so I made another one using the same supplies and design but different color.I Stamp the Peonies with white ink on light blue paper. So pretty in person. Love love this stamp set.

Here is the close up of the focal image. I ink up the stamp with use Barn Door Distress ink and spray water before I stamp. It is really subtle and really pretty.
Have a good weekend.

Papertrey Ink February 2012 Blog Hop

Hi I made a card for Papertrey Ink February 2012 Blog Hop. This month's challenge is making a interactive cards. One of my dear friend is moving to New York next week and I want to give her a card to tell her how much I enjoy her friendship and wish her all the best. I hope she likes this one.

I just got my package in this morning and I have to play with my new goodies. The Medallions background is too pretty and very easy to stamp. It really makes a eye catching BG. LOVE IT! What do you think?

Here is my card. I choose to do a tone on tone card to match the Pattern paper inside.

Inside: I use Beautiful Blooms II stamps set and coordinated die to finish the inside and as a focal point at the card front.

Have a great weekend.

I happen to need some birthday cards for kids. Well, mine is kind of "cheating" I think since they are for boys and girls.

I love how Jennifer creates a window using dies on the card front and the peak out pattern paper. Super cute.

Here are the cards: I use different rectangle dies to cut the window. I also color the candies with Copic marker and add Glossy Accent in the center. Cute~What do you think?
